What’s for dinner? Check out some of our favorite recipes using the Leap of Faith 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon!

4              large chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
1 tsp      Olive oil
1 tsp      Butter
S & P
½ C         chicken broth
¼ C         Leap of Faith Cabernet Sauvignon
Pinch     Dried Thyme
½ C         Dried Cherries or 1 C fresh, seedless cherries
1 tsp      Sugar (omit if using fresh sweet cherries)
2 tsp      Balsamic vinegar
½ tbsp   Cornstarch


1.       Soak Cherries and Thyme in chicken broth and wine 4 hours or overnight
2.       In a medium  hot large sauté  pan, Melt butter with olive oil
3.       S & P chicken thighs
4.       Place chicken thighs skin side down in the hot pan and sauté until golden brown.  Turn and sauté other side
5.       Add wine & cherries to the pan.  Lower heat and cook 20-30 minutes until done
6.       Remove chicken. Keep warm
7.       Whisk cornstarch and sugar into balsamic vinegar
8.       Add to liquid in pan.  Cook until thick.
9.       Serve over the chicken thighs
